Some of my favourite memories from those early days with my babies are their sweet newborn smell, the peaceful “milk drunk” bliss after a feed, and the way their little faces light up after a nap when I walk into the room.
Newborn sessions are such a special way to capture these tiny, perfect features—moments you’ll treasure forever.

Step 01
BOOK IN YOUR SESSION
It's best to shoot me a message to start chatting about what you're after - whether it is a session just about the baby, more relaxed lifestyle session in the studio or at your home or whether you would like a longer, more posed newborn session.
Step 02

Once you know which package you'd like to select, you will receive a Client Agreement and Booking Form to complete, along with a deposit request. Once that has all been sorted, you're locked in! I will be in touch the week of the session to confirm all the details.
Step 03
PHOTO DAY
Whether your session is in the studio or in the comfort of your own home, we will hang out and capture some beautiful moments of your newest addition. Feel free to include any special keepsakes or heirlooms like blankets etc.
Step 04
YOUR GALLERY
This is the best part! It will take me around 2 weeks to have your gallery to you. You will receive each digital image in both a colour and a b/w version (cause I just love b/w so like to includes these!). Digital galleries will be stored for 3 months before they expire. If you have chosen a mini session, you have the option to upgrade to the entire digital gallery should you wish to (and most do!).
FAQ
Do you travel for newborn sessions?
Of course! Those early months can feel a little full-on, so I’m happy to come to you. We’ll make the most of the natural light in your home and use spaces like your bedroom, living room, or even bath time for some really special lifestyle images. For these sessions, a quick tidy-up in the rooms we’ll use helps keep the focus on you and your little ones. Lifestyle on location sessions take around 1 hour. Travel is included if within 20 km of Terrey Hills. If outside this, please add $50 travel fee.
What is the difference between Lifestyle and Posed photos?
Lifestyle images have a relaxed, natural feel. Your baby will be dressed in an outfit of your choice (I have some sweet little options in the studio, or you’re welcome to bring your own). No props are used — instead, I capture your baby just as they are, whether they’re awake, asleep, snuggled in your arms, or feeding.
Posed photos are a little more styled. I gently wrap your baby and may use props such as baskets or bowls to create those classic newborn looks. These sessions can take longer, as many of the poses require your baby to be asleep. For this reason, posed newborn photography is only offered with the Premium package.
What should we wear for our session?
I always suggest comfortable clothes that feel like you. Neutral tones work well but these are your images, so if you love a particular colour or style, go for it! If mum is breastfeeding then clothes that are easy to feed in are a good idea. I will send you a Style Guide when you book in which is super helpful too.
How long does it take to get our photos?
I allow up to 2 weeks to have your gallery ready. If you do need to have images in a hurry, please just let me know and I will do my best to accomodate a speedier delivery!
FAQ
What if someone is sick on the day?
I have kids - I get totally get it. I would always rather reschedule and have happy people than push ahead when they're not feeling themselves.
Do you offer albums or prints?
YES! I have some amazing professional labs that I partner with to offer gorgeous prints and products.
I have been shooting long enough now to know that hard drives fail, USBs are outdated and computers crash. Digital files are great, until you lose them. I can not recommend highly enough to PRINT YOUR PHOTOS! You've gone to the effort of having the session so this is the EASY part, displaying your memories.
Products are available 4-6 weeks after they have been ordered and can be collected from the Terrey Hills studio or can be delivered for an additional fee.
